Scott township has adopted a new ordinance to allow ATV/UTV riding on township roads. Signs should be going up soon. Money donations are being asked for to pay for signage (Download Flyer). West Point Lodge is also having a fund raiser on March 17th, (Download Flyer).

Zebra Mussels:
Zebra Mussels have been found in McKenzie Lake, so it is very important to clean your boats or friend's boats going in and out of the lakes.

The Birch Island Lake Association, BILA,  is a local, not-for-profit group made up of property owners from Birch Island Lake and surrounding area. We are dedicated to protecting the natural environmental health and beauty of Birch Island Lake and surrounding community. We also monitor developments which affect the environment of Birch Island  Lake and co-operate with other associations having similar objectives.
