Spring 2016 Meeting Announcement

Dear Birch Island Lake Neighbor

Please mark your calendar and plan to attend the Annual Birch Island Lake Association Spring Meeting on Saturday May 28, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:00 am Lakeside Community Church, 28626 County Rd H.

We will have Dave Ferris from the DNR as our guest speaker to address the concerns for the high water levels as well as things you can do as a homeowner.  This year’s meeting is also going to have our Annual Elections. We will be looking for nominations for President, Vice President as well as a director at large position.

Membership in the BILA is open to anyone who owns lakeshore property on Birch Island Lake, so if you have a new neighbor who might not receive this notice, please extend a cordial invitation to join our association. Dues are $30.00 for two years.

Enclosed with this letter is a member update sheet and dues form.  Please indicate how you would prefer to be notified of lake news (ie. Meeting notices, activities on the lake, dues, etc.) Email or US  Mail and what address.  We will only send through US mail to one address generally; the mailings are the first week in May and the First week in August.  (We do not mail summer lake activities – email only)  We know many of you have email address and to be conscious of expense we would love to move to that format as our preferred method of communication.

In addition, BILA supports and maintains an important water quality – monitoring program, and additional contributions to offset the cost of the equipment are welcome!  Just make note of that on your dues letter.  Please enclose your dues payment, any contributions and the directory letter in the envelope provided.  We will have a box available at the meeting or feel free to mail before the meeting or if you cannot attend.

Thank you for your membership in BILA.  As property owners, we are fortunate to have a vital, engaged association dedicated to keeping our lake desirable!

Best Regards,

Ruth Ralph
